Jeff Richards of Clyde, PA felled this large Axis buck with one shot on Dec. 22, 2012.

John Rodrigues of Monroe, CT took this Mouflon ram with one shot on Dec. 11, 2012. The ram measured 31 1/4 inches but had approximately 2 inches broomed off.

Jeff Richards of Clyde, PA took this impressive Black Hawaiian on Nov. 9, 2012 after a lengthy stalk. The ram measured 35 1/4 inches with 10-inch bases.

Justin Richardson of Bellville, TX took this Painted Desert ram on Feb. 24, 2012. The ram measured 33 1/2 inches with bases measuring nearly 12 inches. The ram was missing almost 3 inches on each side from fighting and grazing. The ram was Justin's third in three straight hunting seasons, all felled with one shot after lengthy stalks.

Gene Davis of Manassas, VA took this mouflon ram on Feb. 22, 2012 after stalking a herd of rams for 2 days. The ram measured nearly 30 inches but was missing more than 2 inches on each side from a lot of fighting.

Norm Jones of Charleston, S. C. took this Texas Dall ram on Feb. 22, 2012. The large ram measured more than 33 inches but was missing at least 2 inches on each side from fighting.

Norm Jones of Charleston, S. C. took this massive Black Hawaiian ram Feb. 21, 2012 after a lengthy stalk. The ram measured more than 35 inches but was missing almost 2 inches because of fighting.

Jeremy Ruesink of Rosenberg, TX took this mouflon ram on Feb. 12, 2012 after a day-long stalk.

Dawn Koetting and her husband, Donald, of Thibadaux, LA were together when Dawn took her first animal, this massive Texas Dall ram, Feb. 2, 2012. The mature ram measured nearly 37 inches and was missing at least another inch from fighting. Dawn took the animal with one shot from her .243 rifle.

The Schwehyer family from Cedar Hill, TX completed the Texas Slam on the von Netzer Ranch Jan. 28, 2012. Blair, second from left, took this 32-inch Corsican with one shot on Jan. 28. Sister Brianna, left, began the slam quest by taking a Black Hawaiian ram three winters earlier. Her mother, Lisa, right, added a Texas Dall ram the same year. Ronny, father, took a mouflon ram a year earlier leaving only the Corsican ram to complete the slam.

Hunter Young of Fort Worth, TX downed this mature Texas Dall ram with one shot at almost 100 yards on Jan. 21, 2012. The ram measured more than 27 inches but was missing more than 2 inches on each side because of fighting. The ram was the first animal taken by Hunter in his hunting career.

Frank Renfro of Amarillo, TX took this mature ram on Jan. 13, 2012. The ram measured almost 36 inches with more than an inch broomed off and had impressive mass.

Harold Thomas of Raleigh, N. C. took this Corsican with one shot after a lengthy stalk Jan. 11, 2012. The ram measured almost 33 inches and had impressive mass.

Marc Batangan of Round Rock, TX took this impressive Corsican ram on Jan. 10, 2012 after a day-long stalk. The ram measured 27 inches with impressive mass. More than 2 inches were broomed off because of fighting.

Mike Stachewicz of Eagle River, Wisconsin took this Corsican with one shot after a lengthy stalk. The ram measured 32 1/2 inches with at least 1 1/2 inches broomed off and had bases measuring almost 11 inches.

Sharon Stachewicz of Eagle River, Wisconsin spent more than half a day stalking this Corsican ram Jan. 8, 2012. The ram measured right at 28 inches with impressive mass.
